The Challenge: Combating Global Warming with Waste Sector Actions

On Wednesday 29.9, 14:00-19:00 CEST /10:00 -15:00 EDT (UTC-4), a Latin and Central America Forum addresses policy makers and actors from public and private sector in the region. During the morning they will focus on a CCAC country partner and its experiences and needs in waste management/circular economy to contribute to the CCAC and the Paris Agreement. On Thursday 30.9, 09:30-13:30 CEST / 10:30-14:30 EAT + EEST (UTC+3), the Sub-Sahara Africa Forum involves policy makers and actors from public and private sector in the region. In the afternoon they will discuss how can we raise NDC ambitions with waste sector activities at local level and which proposals, approaches and support for the country/organization/city would be most interesting and beneficial.
